(Are you one of our volunteer angels? Please contact Pat at patbreen@nwdance.net.)\nWhat’s the difference between a dance class and a dance camp?\nClick here to get the answer straight from the camp co-directors.\n\nInstructors\nThe Seabeck team headed up by Jodi, Dean and Pat has lined up A-Level instructors along with live music and DJs for the weekend.   We are proud to announce the phenomenal teachers that have joined our Seabeck dance instruction crew:\nJodi Fleischman\n\nBrewing up a cauldron of fun and dance joy, Jodi is delighted to be the artistic director and also teaching waltz and other rhythm concoctions at camp.\nThat said, we all know from what little woodland creature the TRUE magic emanates.\nWren and Jodi are cooking up a Seabeck line dance…and there’ll be a few surprises we’re holding back from telling — ’cause it’s just more fun that way!\nDean Paton\n\nSeabeck’s administrative director, Dean Paton, will be making sure all is in flow and full of wonder, as well as waltzing his way to a foxtrot full of pizazz and shimmering dance technique.\nJodi and Dean will polish your pivots, cross-step your Waltz, and mix Traveling Nightclub Two-Step with Foxtrot. And One-Step. And Cha Cha.\nWren Newman and Scot McKay\n            \nThey cast a spell of wonder-full West Coast Swing, Country Two Step and other secret fancies on Seabeck’s dance floors.  They’ll teach seven hours of special Westie treats.\nLauren Smith and Peter Flahiff\n\nThey weave movement magic with Balboa, Collegiate Shag, Vernacular Jazz and other swing era dances. With 40 years of teaching experience between them, their sharp skills and even sharper wit, are sure to elevate your dance delight.\nPeter and Lauren are down for seven hours of Balboa, Bal-Swing, plus the rare opportunity to learn elegant Slow Balboa and Shim Sham.\nSean Donovan and Erika Olsen\n\nSean Donovan rounds out our team of talented, entertaining instructors. He and his partner Erika are sure to enchant the camp with their polished technique and styling.\nSean and Erika will guide us through the Magic of Connection, Blues, Whiskey River Jitterbug, and a line dance out of Africa that went viral on YouTube.\n\nSeabeck Saturday Dance\n\nMusical magicians: Birch Pereira, Casey MacGil, Jonathon Doyle and Adrian on drums will be putting us under their spell.\n\nThe Venue\nThe historic Seabeck Conference Center, on the shore of Hood Canal, has always hosted us. This year’s camp runs from Thursday evening, November 2, through Sunday afternoon, November 5.
