Dance: Stickshift Annie with Kimball and the Fugitives
Stickshift Annie with Kimball and the Fugitives perform every style, from Freddie King shuffles, smoldering grinders and Texas 2-beat blues; to swing, rock & roll, and R&B tunes. The amazing Kimball Conant performs on his vintage 1962 Gretsch electric guitar in a distinctive Chet Atkins fingerstyle, and easily shifts to a deep-down Johnny-Winter-style acoustic slide for burning blues. The Dynamic Duo of Rhythm includes Phil Lane on bass and John Rockin’ em well Rockwell on drums, with master Brian Kent on sax, and songbird Annie Eastwood beautiful singin’ and swingin’ to the blues.
