Launch this holiday season with a long weekend of dance and community amidst an old-growth forest, under the twinkling lights of our dance floors, cocooned in warm, cozy accommodations, sharing family-style meals — all accompanied by the “shoosh-shoosh,” of the lapping waves on the Hood Canal.
Whether you’re a returning dancer to SEABECK camp, or A ‘first timer’ (we love you newcomers), we welcome you with warmth, joy, star-dust and dance!
Flow through a variety of dance styles and music: West Coast Swing, Blues, Cha Cha Cha, Rhumba, East Coast Swing, Turns within Turns Waltz, One-Step-Walking-Blues, Foxtrot, Nightclub Two Step and more.
Enhance your dancing with specialty workshops that focus on body movement and isolations, turns and pivots — the techniques and skills that are a part of many dance styles.
And…We own the whole camp!
We’re loving scheduling the classes on the large floors, slumbering in the best rooms and making as much noise as we like at lunch. And dinner. And breakfast.

Spin into the stratosphere with Turns within Turns Waltz — dreamy, sweeping, romantic. Travel through galaxies unknown into a brave new world of Cha Cha, Foxtrot and pivots with these two cosmonauts of flow and grace.
Peter and Theresa
Ride the rocket shower of momentum with Peter and Theresa through the jazz era dances and glide through the starry skies of Balboa. These two have deep pockets of dancing skill and technique and are sure to sprinkle a little Stardust in your footwork.
We’ll miss Lauren this year, who’s off visiting family in Sunny California. We’re excited to introduce you to Theresa, a skilled teacher who’ll be shuffling along with Peter to guide your balboa journey.

If you’re planning to attend the weekend’s West Coast classes, we have a Westie Foundations Refresher Clinic for you!
This will kick off the weekend, right after check-in on Thursday, from 4:30 – 6:00 PM, before our first meal together at camp.
The intention is to polish up your basics (left side pass, sugar push, underarm turn, and whip) so that the weekend specialty Westie classes can hit the floor dancing, without having to slow down to review the basics.
As Yoda would say, “Dance, or dance not, there is no try.”

We are in the unknown quadrant of the Universe occupied by the Jetsons, Captain Kirk, Spock, Darth Vader, Yoda, and the Lost in Space Crew. Danger, danger Will Robinson! Fun, frolic and cavort with aliens as you don gear for space travel, representing your home planet or embark as Martian ambassador to an alien land. We come in peace.
The future is now with robo-taxis, exploding rocket launches, and Katy Perry and Oprah in zero gravity. It’s time to make friends with AI, welcome the Octurians, Pleidians and all the lizard peoples.
Are you a gold bikini a la Princess Leia type? Or a bit more Jaba the Hut? maybe you’re a Trekkie? Or feeling a bit alien or Predator? Or a bit Venetian minx? Maybe you’re into ‘the future meets the past’ steam-punk attire? Well, whatever, your time and space-travel predilection, polish-up your antennae and spiff up for cocktail hour.
Anything that has you shooting for the moon!

We have a new intuitive registration system that we’re delighted about. You get to select your room, your bed, your roommate, and of course your meal choice. You are in Kirk’s captain chair.
